The monthly Flamingo Club continues to celebrate the famous West End club. Started in August 1952 by Jeffrey Kruger, the club moved to the famous Wardour Street premises in 1957 and became a home to the very best in Blues, R&B, Soul and Jazz. John O’Leary (Savoy Brown) and Alan Glen (Yardbirds, Nine Below Zero) lead a 7 piece house band that includes Nick Newall, saxophone, (The Kinks), Tim Penn, Piano, (Kevin Coyne, Andy Summers, Cadillac Kings), Papa George, guitar & vox, Pete Miles, (Radical Sheiks) Glynn Evans, (Ray Davies) plus assorted special guests.
