Thu 4th Aug Tjoe Man Cheung Quartet

Born in Hong Kong, now based in the UK, and playing across Rock, Funk, Motown and Jazz, Tjoe brings an exciting musical perspective, infusing his roots into the music he plays.

Thu 11th Aug Matt Chandler Trio

Featuring Eric Ford on drums and Ross Stanley on Hammond organ. Matt Chandler’s innovative style is supported by a career that has spanned genres from jazz to punk, folk to electronica.

Wed 17th Aug Kevin Fitzsimmons Quartet ft. Leon Greening

Long a fan of Mark Murphy and Mel Tormé, London-born Kevin Fitzsimmons is one of most individual male jazz voices on the UK jazz scene with a reputation as a charismatic presence and a quality lyricist/songwriter.

Thu 18th Aug Penelope Tobin Trio

With Dave Green (bass) and Trevor Tomkins (drums). The pianist / composer’s latest tunes are ‘songs without words’ – musical stories that sweep you along, with swing and grooves for the feet, and evocative lyricism for the soul.

Wed 24th Aug Faye Patton

Faye is a Nu Jazz singer-songwriter, writing original songs in jazz idiom which combine jazz, funk, pop, folk, gospel and blues influences with a retro yet contemporary sound that recalls the great divas of the 30s, 40s and 50s.

Wed 31st Aug Wild Card

Wild card is a melting-pot of musical ideas, fusing urban rhythms, Hard-bop and grooves with latin and jazz attitude. With Sophie Alloway on drums, Andy Noble on Hammond Organ, and French guitarist/band leader, Clement Regert.
