Jazz Duo Concert at the 1901 Arts Club

For their inaugural concert in December Mood Indigo Events are very happy to be featuring the internationally renowned Mornington Lockett on saxophone who will be joining pianist Terence Collie.
Mornington Lockett has toured widely as a member of the Ronnie Scott Quintet and has recorded more than 50 albums with a wide variety of artists, including Ronnie Scott, Jim Mullen, Stan Tracey, Don Grusin, Martin Drew, Claire Martin, Sarah Jane Morris and Ian Shaw. He has also played with many international jazz stars and worked regularly with the late legendary British pianist and composer Stan Tracey.
Terence Collie has developed enormous respect as a jazz pianist able to cross all styles while retaining a strong personal identity. He is currently running and playing at many successful jazz nights in south west London featuring top line jazz artists as well as performing regularly at some of the best jazz venues in the South of England.

The concert will take place on Thursday 6th December from 8pm.

Mood Indigo Events are run by Kingston-based vocalist Janet McCunn and Hampton-based pianist Terence Collie combining their efforts to bring great jazz music to SW London and beyond. This is all done without funding and is reliant solely on your continued support in attendance at our events.
