It’s such a shame that in November of all months, given the EFG London Jazz Festival was due to take place, we are seeing our venues once again shuttered because of covid-19. Let’s hope it’s just a temporary hiatus this time and clubs will be back up and running again across London and the south east before the end of the year. We will be listing all the livestreamed and online events for the Festival, and gigs taking place at the start of November, and then in the meantime please check out our weekly JAZZLONDONLIVE radio show which airs on a Thursday night at 10pm, presented by yours truly on Brooklands Radio.

We launched the JAZZLONDONLIVE website back in June 2016 and started a Kickstarter campaign which generously crowdfunded the development of the mobile listings app. JAZZLONDONLIVE is the only resource of its kind, and is now enthusiastically and actively used by almost 200,000 jazz fans, venues, promoters, artists, reviewers and broadcasters. We have stuck to our original ideal which was that the listings are offered to jazz lovers completely free of charge, so you can peruse the magnificent array of jazz on offer across London and the south east at any time in any of our three formats: this website,

Our Thursday night JAZZLONDONLIVE radio show is still being broadcast every week, so there is now an archive of 107 shows to listen to on Mixcloud and three ways of tuning in from 10pm on a Thursday night to hear it when it’s being broadcast on Brooklands Radio – via their website, app or on DAB if you’re in Surrey.
