The much-admired Scottish jazz vocalist Kitty Whitelaw celebrates the American jazz singer, pianist and composer Blossom Dearie together with the stylish pianist James Buckham and double bassist Chris Hyde.

Blossom Dearie was born in 1924 New York and over the course of her life became a highly acclaimed international singer, pianist and composer. She was made famous by her unique voice, Bebop stylings and her moving lyrical story telling.

For this special concert Kitty will be paying homage and re-interpreting Blossom’s songs sung in English and French spanning her entire career, including classic tunes such as Deed I DoThey Say It’s SpringManhattanI’m HipPeel Me a GrapePlus Je T’embrasseThe Gentleman is a Dope & Surrey with the Fringe on Top.

The rapidly rising jazz star Kitty Whitelaw has performed in Paris, Berlin, Singapore and Kyiv in the Ukraine as well as appearing in major venues in London and around the UK. Among her career highlights was a well-received performance in the 2019 EFG London Jazz Festival where she debuted her show Kitty Sings O’Day All Night.

Tickets are sold as tables (rather than individual seats) of twos and fours and the three banquettes which each seat six people. Email if you just want a single ticket for one person.
