28-50’s House Band: Hoo’s Collective
Hailing from all corners of London, Hoo’s Collective brings you an eclectic mix of Instrumental Jazz, Funk and Hip-Hop. The band consists of Adam Hughes (keyboards), Gennarro Ricciardone (Guitar), Indigo Pearce (Bass) and Stanley Wickham (Drums). The band’s main influences include Herbie Hancock, John Scofield, Marcus Miller and Yussef Dayes. Hoo’s Collective specialises in arrangements of well known Jazz and Funk songs that utilise improvisation to provide high energy, climactic solos as well as steady, sturdy pocket grooves. The youngsters also include in their set some original compositions.

Drummer and composer Sam Jesson has been a key figure on the London Jazz scene for some time now and leads the 2850 Vintage Piano Trio.This exciting trio are united by their love for the tradition of legendary jazz trios from Ahmed Jamal to Sonny Rollins, Oscar Peterson to Dewey Redman. They wind their way through many gems of the jazz canon – some lesser known than others – sometimes deconstructing and breathing new life, sometimes paying homage to classic arrangements, with a devoted focus on making music that feels honest and joyous.

An Evening with Atila
Atila is an established Jazz singer from the UK. Sartorially stylish and musically classy, his interpretations of the American Songbook are internationally renowned, taking influence from early Frank Sinatra. Recently Atila has returned to the studio with an ambitious project centered around the early musical career of Nat King Cole. ‚ÄòKing for a day’ came out of Atila’s long running residency at the Park Plaza hotel and the Arts Club Dover Street. The album supports Atila’s current touring show of the same name.
