Songs of Life and Liberty – Eclectic Voices with Martin Speake Quartet EFG London Jazz Festival

The outstanding London choir joins with the Martin Speake Quartet to sing Songs of Life and Liberty by Scott Stroman, John Ashton Thomas, Maya Angelou and Stevie Wonder. Scott Stroman directs Eclectic Voices with Martin Speake, alto saxophone, Mike Outram, guitar, Jason Simpson, bass and Winston Clifford, drums in his Songs of Life and Liberty cycle and Maya Angelou Songs, a new suite from Stevie Wonder’s Song in the Key of Life, and Blake Songs, created for Eclectic Voices and Martin Speake by John Ashton Thomas, who died one year ago.
