Based at Colchester Arts Centre (the former St Mary-at-the-Walls Church), the club relaunched in January 2016. Run by a small team of dedicated volunteers, the club receives no external funding, and is focused on presenting the best in mainstream, modern and improvised jazz, showcasing established and emerging artists, plus local professional musicians.
Concerts are held on the first Sunday of the month and, for the majority of our events, with cabaret-style seating. Despite the venue being a former church, it has a cosy atmosphere! Access to the venue is wheelchair-friendly, there is also a hearing loop and assistance dogs are welcome.
