Born in Cardiff. Moved to London late 60’s and studied percussion at the Royal Academy of Music. Has been playing on the London jazz scene since late 60s. Worked with American musicians such as Art Farmer; Mose Allison; Mark Murphy; Sonny Stitt; Herb Ellis; Kenny Burell; Scott Hamilton. Has been or still part of bands led by Dick Pearce; Steve Waterman; Chris Biscoe; Alan Barnes; Don Weller; Art Themen; Pete Hurt; Tim Whitehead; Mike Westbrook.
