Jumoké has sung most musical forms, from Handel to Gershwin to Gospel to Bernstein, at venues including the Royal Albert Hall and the London Hippodrome. Her solo repertoire comprises an edgy blend of jazz, R&B and soul, eloquently expressed and dynamically delivered. Time Out Magazine describes her as a “Head-spinningly versatile singer”. Her debut album, ‘The Condition of Being A Woman’ was released in Feb 2014. She is the creator and host of the monthly Jazz Verse Jukebox at Hoxton Hall, (previously at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club (Upstairs) London). She currently presents Inspirit with Jumoké Fashola, BBC London 94.9’s Sunday Breakfast magazine programme. Her TV credits include the Holiday Programme (BBC1), Summer Holiday (BBC1) Summer Praise (BBC1).
