Born and raised in South Wales, the musical Celtic traditions of that region played a huge part in shaping this ‘valley girl’s’ vocal prowess and love of music. Rebecca’s other main influences: her parents’ vinyl collection of jazz greats and as many MGM musicals as she could fit into a rainy weekend (which in Wales, was not unusual).
Having been gigging in London for almost two years, the consensus amongst those who have heard Rebecca sing, is one of being whisked back to that golden jazz era, offering a nostalgic nod to the ‘ghost singers’ of the silver screen.
